The Veritas results will be announced early in October after intense adjudication by panels consisting of national and international judges. Members of the public then have the chance to taste these excellent wines. Qualité awarded cheese will also be available to taste at these events.

Wine connoisseurs can diarise the following dates and venues: Cape Town – 18 October 2007 at the Southern Sun Cape Sun; Johannesburg – 23 October 2007 at the Sandton Convention Centre; Durban – 6 November 2007 at Deloitte’s head office and Port Elizabeth – 8 November 2007 at the Feather Market Hall. Visitors can look forward to a gastronomic experience of note in Knysna on 9 Nobember 2007 when Veritas wines will be paired with gourmet food at Kilzers Kitchen.

Veritas is South Africa’s biggest competition for market ready wines and widely known as the wine industry’s most authoritative quality measure. The Veritas symbol is indicative of high caliber wines and acts as a criterion of excellence. The tasting events are supported and made possible by the professional services company, Deloitte.
