WANTED! SA’S BEST WINES AND BRANDIES
The South African National Wine Show Association (SANWSA) is on the lookout for the best wines and brandies South Africa has to offer. The Veritas Awards, a competition synonymous with excellence, is awaiting entries up until August 20. Late entries will be accepted until August 28 (at an increased entry fee).
Judging of all wines and brandies will take place from 15-19 September by more than 17 esteemed panels of wine experts representative of the entire wine industry and include winemakers, researchers, Cape Wine Masters, academics and merchants. Six international judges will be joining the local experts.
The Veritas Awards gives recognition to wines and brandies of exceptional quality and a Veritas award serves as an authoritative quality guideline for wine connoisseurs. Apart from the commercial value, receiving top honours at this prestigious wine competition gives acknowledgement to the wine or brandy, the winery, the viticulturist, the winemaker and brandy master.
Winning wines and brandies of remarkable quality will receive the distinctive Veritas symbol of excellence at the glitzy Veritas Awards Function which will take place on October 4.
